What is included with my rental?
Every reservation includes a premium electric bike, a sanitized helmet (available in multiple sizes), and a high-security lock. For rentals exceeding 24 hours, a charger is also provided. We'll also give you a safety briefing and share our favorite local routes.
How does FriendWithA work?
FriendWithA is our secure booking partner — similar to how Airbnb works for home rentals. You create an account (verified via Google, Facebook, or their ID process), browse our fleet, and book directly. Payments, messaging, and damage protection are all handled through the platform.
How does concierge delivery work?
During checkout, you'll specify your delivery address — hotel, Airbnb, or residence. Our team confirms a delivery window and meets you there with the bike, performs a safety check, adjusts the fit, and walks you through operation. Delivery is free within 10 miles of our service hubs.
Can I ride on the beach?
Our fat-tire bikes handle packed sand and boardwalks well. However, riding in loose or wet sand is not recommended — it can damage the drivetrain and electronics. In Jacksonville, riding on beach sand is not permitted. We ask that beach-adjacent rides are returned same-day so our team can perform anti-corrosion cleaning.
What's the cancellation policy?
Flexibility is key. Reschedule for free up to 24 hours before your reservation. Cancellations made 48+ hours in advance receive a full refund minus processing fees. Same-day cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us and we'll do our best.
Do I need experience to ride an e-bike?
Not at all. If you can ride a regular bicycle, you can ride an e-bike. Our concierge team provides a full safety walkthrough at delivery — covering throttle and pedal assist modes, braking technique, and battery management. Most riders feel confident within the first five minutes.
